FAQs about Remote Usability Testing

How does remote testing work?

For each one-on-one session, we use well-known web conference platforms like Zoom, GoToMeeting, and Microsoft Teams to observe users as they complete tasks with your product. We ask probing questions to understand their thought processes and provide real-time feedback on the usability of your interface.

Will I be involved in the remote testing process?

Yes, as much as you would like to be. We’ll work with you from the beginning to design a testing plan that meets your business goals, and you’ll be able to observe remote sessions and communicate with us just as if we were together in person.

Is remote testing as informative as in-person testing?

Yes! We have over a decade of experience conducting remote testing, and our highly educated team of experts ensure that we get the same user insight as we would with in-person testing.

Can I test a mobile design remotely?

Yes! Our UX specialists have experience testing all types of products remotely. The testing process for mobile interfaces is largely the same as that for desktop products. Additionally, remote testing facilitates more realistic interactions as participants are more comfortable using their own devices.
