Put your product in front of a crowd.

Interactive focus groups are an effective way to understand what people like, need, and want from your product. These groups are broken into two distinct portions; first, each participant interacts with your product on their own to give them time to experience it first-hand. Then, a group discussion inspires them to converse with each other and share ideas for the future. This hybrid approach enables us to put your product in front of a large number of users in a short amount of time, gathering both qualitative feedback and quantitative data via worksheets and surveys. Our analysis of both these elements will provide a clear path for your future development.

We help answer questions like:

  • What will users think of our new product ideas?

  • Which ideas are the most promising to pursue?

  • Will people understand our product from the get-go?

  • How would our customers suggest we modify our offering?

  • How does our product compare to our competitors’?

  • How should we position our product in the marketplace to best appeal to users?

FAQs about Interactive Focus Groups

What makes the focus groups “interactive”?

There are two elements to interactive focus groups. First, we have participants interact with the product/interface individually, before coming together for a group discussion. This is truly the best of both worlds, as it gives them unbiased time with your offering but still makes room for group debate.

Am I able to observe the focus groups?

Yes, and we strongly encourage it! Whether the sessions are in-person or remote, observing them is the best way to hear directly from your users about what they like and don’t like. You’ll also be able to communicate with us during the sessions to ensure your questions are getting answered.

How many groups? How many people per group?

This will depend on the nature of your offering, but 2-3 groups per topic with 6-8 participants per group is typical. For playtesting the groups will be slightly larger.

How long will this project take?

These projects typically last 4-6 weeks, but it varies based on the nature of the recruit and the type of report you need. We will work with you to meet your goals on your timeline.
