Our interface design made controlling luxury smart bed features a breeze.

Tempur-Sealy chose Centralis to design the user experience for configuring and controlling its new smart beds. In a rapid iterative design process, we developed a clickable prototype of a simple, intuitive interface. We then held usability sessions among end users to refine our work and deliver a product that made it easy for people to configure the bed's many features.

Our Approach

In initial requirements gathering, we worked closely with our client's team to understand the functionality and platform constraints our work needed to address. We then designed a comprehensive process flow for all functions. Incorporating feedback from the Tempur-Sealy team, we then created an interactive prototype design. Finally, we conducted usability test sessions with target users to refine the design and ensure positive customer response.

The Outcome

Testing led us to recommend several key enhancements to the interface, including addition of a separate guided setup process and revision of the home screen to include a status summary. Our client has credited Centralis with changing their approach to digital interface design.
