Tomorrow (1/22) at 2:45pm, our own Elizabeth Allen will present “Red Herrings: Debunking the Pop Psychology of Color” at the ConveyUX conference in Seattle, WA.

Using her own special blend of recent scientific research, practical design tips, and perplexing visual illusions, Elizabeth will teach you how to use color more effectively to communicate meaning and priority in user interfaces. She will also discuss some simple strategies for making designs accessible to the often-overlooked proportion of users who are colorblind.

Elizabeth holds a Ph.D. from The University of Chicago, where her research focused on perception of color, brightness, and other visual attributes.
