Centralis celebrates 10 years of great experiences
April 6, 2011: This year marks Centralis’ tenth anniversary of helping clients create more usable, rewarding experiences for their customers. Founded in 2001 by principals Lyman Casey and Kathi Kaiser, Centralis has established itself as an industry leader in user experience – a field that has grown from infancy to national spotlight in a decade’s time.
“We are proud of and grateful for our success over the past ten years,” says Centralis CEO Lyman Casey. “Over that time, we’ve seen the market mature to more fully appreciate how critical user experience is to a product’s ultimate acceptance and success.”
As one of the first firms focused solely on user experience research and design, Centralis has seen its work evolve from usability testing of software and websites to the design and testing of everything from physical products to mobile devices and apps. Major milestones have included the build-out of its state-of-the-art usability lab in Chicago, as well as the streamlining of its mobile testing capabilities that support projects across North America, Europe and Asia.
As a thank you to Centralis’ staff for their commitment and stellar work, the company recently hosted an anniversary celebration for employees and their families in the Turks & Caicos Islands.
